iOS 16

My iPad updated to iOS 15.7. The Software Update says my iPadOS is up to date. iOS 16 does not come up as an option to install. I have a new iPad Air 5th generation with plenty of open space (over 100gb). It’s fully charged. I am connected to the same wifi network my phone is on.

My phone updated to 15.7 then I was given the option to download and install 16 right aft it finished installing 15.7.
