Phone call duplicates with iOS 16

Ever since updating to iOS 16, when I look at recent calls it shows 2 calls at once on both received and sent and cannot fix it

Hi JorgeShaf,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! This would be expected behavior if you are in a group FaceTime call or a conference call. Are you only speaking to one contact when this occurs? If so, you can try the following to troubleshoot:

  1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom pausing in the middle.
  2. Swipe left or right to locate the Phone app preview
  3. Swipe up on the preview to close out the app completely.

Once closed out, you can restart your iPhone and see if this continues to occur.

To restart your iPhone:

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power off slider appears.

2. Drag the slider and wait about 30 seconds.

3. Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears to power it back on. Once back on, test to see if this continues.

Hope that helps!
