Anyone else having issues with not being able to hear the other person on phone with the ear speaker. Can only hear on speaker phone.

Having the exact same issue and was hoping I would find some tech response to it.. I have been using the speaker in the interim

And what did Apple support have you do when you contacted them that didn't work?
I still havent heard from apple support.. waiting patiently
