had the same question. The answer is really dumb. lol. After choosing AUSampler from the Plug-ins (as you've done), click the actual plug in itself to bring up the interface. Hyst like you would if you were trying to bring up an EQ interface or Distortion interface.
Interesting. Mine, when i click the middle of the AU Sampler, it just opens to this view automatically. I'm glad you figured it out though! It is very annoying. lol
I'm afraid I'm too stupid, I still don't get it. I click on the Plug-in (red arrow) but I still get the control-window instead of the sampler-window.
