Duplicate Detection
Hi.
Ive just updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 16 and going through the new features. I cannot find the duplicate detection feature under utilities in photos.
Any suggestions? Is it only available with newer iPhones?

Hi MarkMddn,
The ‘Duplicates’ album in Photos appears under “Utilities” when Photos detects duplicates in the library. The detection process requires the device to be locked and connected to power, and depending on the size of the library and other background tasks going on, could happen quickly or take up to a few days to fully process.
