How to trim my voice recording

I cannot trim my voice recording the word "Trim" and " Delete" are in grey color

Voice Memos app Editing Problem Here are my steps: I tap the 3 dots at upper right Select the Edit Recording option Tap "Crop" icon at upper right (square box with 2 diagonal dots) Drag the yellow/black outward-facing arrows to the point where I want, then Hit "Trim" However, hitting Trim or Delete does nothing. It's not greyed-out...it just doesn't do anything.

Recovering trimmed Voice Memory Hello, I accidentally lost original voice record while trimming it. Trimmed a record and when i touch to finish edited version of record is appearing and i original version is gone. How can i recover it ?
