iCloud deleted my photos
I switched my iPhone from 8 to 12. During the backup process iCloud deleted years of my photos.
Now when I try to access them on both my old iPhone 8 and new iPhone 12 i get blank photos or low res versions.

Did you already log into your iCloud account on your computer and check, if the photos are still part of iCloud?
