Is it possible to remove some parts of subscribed calendars?

I am trying to get US Holidays that are relevant to me. I have subscribed to 2 so I know how to add and delete them. The problem is that both have some things that I like and some that I would prefer to remove. There are many duplicates. For example, on October 9 I have Indigenous People's Day and Columbus Day both listed twice. I would prefer to delete Columbus Day and keep just one reminder that it is Indigenous Peoples' Day. I am glad to have the fact given on November 25 that it is Native American Heritage Day, however don't need it on my calendar that December 26 is Christmas day (substitute). If there is no way to remove pieces of special calendars, please make it a suggestion for the next iteration of the iOS. If there is a way, please help me find it.

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Hey, KimAppleUser.

We’re afraid removing and adding events to a calendar subscription isn’t possible. From: Subscribe to calendars on Mac - Apple Support

The events shown in a subscription calendar are controlled by the provider. You can’t edit calendars you are subscribed to (for example, the Holidays calendar)

However, you can create your own Calendar and enter only the events you want: Set up multiple calendars on iPhone - Apple Support

Feel free to get back to us with any questions or problems you may have.

All the best.
