Email password on Iphone and Computer

Every time I change the password on my Yahoo email account on my Windows 10 computer, I then have to enter that password on my Iphone. Why does it not automatically change it.

When you change a password, you are attempting to increase your security. Perhaps the security issue was a stolen device.

Naturally when you change a password on one device (that is not captured in iCloud Keychain), you would be asked to change it on each and every device that requires it.

It does not automatically change for security reasons. For example, if someone has access to your Yahoo email account and you don’t want them to have it, then you would change the password to that email account. Now, if the password automatically changed everywhere where Yahoo email was setup then the other person would still be able to access your account.
