I get my new iPhone 14 Pro in a few days and I am unsure whether I should use Quick Start or ICloud Backup for the data transfer from my iPhone 11. Is there any difference in either speed (I have gigabit broadband) or what data/settings are transferred?
They are different things.
Read Set up your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and you will see the guide will instruct you to use Quick Start to set up your account data, then later on employ your iCloud backup to restore your old iPhone to your new iPhone.
Thank you. Step 6 in the Quick Start guide says that I can continue with Quick Start or use an iCloud backup to transfer my data. I wondered if there were any differences between the two options in terms of speed or the extent of the data/settings transferred?
