iPhone 12 apps icons disappearing randomly

My iPhone 12 running on iOS 15.6.1 did a random restart (spinner/loading icon showed up) last night. Some of the app icons went missing. I powered it off and started it again and the issue was fixed. However, the issue happened again in the last hour, and it has occurred around 6 times already. Restarting the phone no longer fixes the issue. The phone is not running on low battery. I'm already speaking with Apple Support but would like to know if this has been happening to anyone as well and if you did anything specific to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!
