When trying to upgrade an app on my new phone, a message pops up saying i need to update my paying method. However my card is stored in my wallet and everything is up to date. It still will not let me proceed. (Keep in mind, when i purchase anything in stores, my Apple Pay however Does work) please help.

Your payment method is completely separate from anything in the Wallet.
Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & Shipping ➢ Add Payment Method.

Click ▶︎ Payment Method Declined.

It still is not working. It’ll say updates and then when i try to upgrade the app I’m trying to use it still says payment declined
this comes up when i click to update payment after it says “payment declined” . It redirects me here. However my card info is saved in payment method T
