Mail icon number does not show

My email does not show icon number of emails received and I have my badge on. I’m going out of my mind!

Mail app icon not showing number of unread emails for gmail account I noticed the mail app icon is only showing number of unread messages for my ICloud acct but isn’t showing number of unread messages for my gmail acct. yes, the badges for gmail under notifications is set to “ON.” It used to show the total number of unread messages between both accounts, but now only is showing unread ICloud messages and nothing from gmail. Again, gmail notifications have badges set to on. What could be wrong, and why is this happening all of a sudden? Thanks.

Not able to display badges on email home screen I have just updated from an X to a 13 and my email longer shows how many unread emails I have on the Home Screen. I’ve tried to reset this in email settings but there doesn’t seem to anything showing this? There does not appear to be a ‘allow badges’ toggle to change. help?

Mail icon badge only showing iCloud mail, not other mail unread Recently I’ve noted that only my iCloud unread mail is showing up on my mail icon badge. I have three emails set up using iOS mail, and I used to be able to see a badge number reflective of all the unread mail across the three email accounts. Now when I have unread mail, the number only changed if the unread mail belongs to the iCloud account. Which is frustrating. I’ve tried turning badges off for mail and on again. And it still only shows iCloud unread mail. is this a feature update I missed during the last update?
