Slow HomeKit on HomePod mini

Ever since IOS 15 I've had a HomePod mini and since then I've been struggling to find the source of a slow response to and from any home kit device, too devices not responding. Over the year I have removed devices, reset WIFI, and deleted the entire home which resulted in returning to the same issues.

I have 3 Apple HD TVs and 1 HomePod Mini, approximately 30 home devices that opperate on a single RAX200 Netgear router that does cover the entire home with > 70% signal rate. The WIFI survey showed no dead spots with ample bandwidth on the 2.4GHz spectrum and no interference present. All user devices are on wideband 5GHz channels and a few cameras. HomePod Mini and Logitech doorbell was placed on the 5GHz High Band channels. All are on the same standardized private class C subnet. Needless to say, the WIFI or network is not an issue it's been officially verified by a Cisco Gold Certified Engineer. Thank you, Sameer.

I have narrowed the problem down to the HomePod Mini. Every time I place that device in Homekit it automatically becomes the primary hub, to which it eludes me how to remove that role entirely - For the love of god Apple if this is intentional, pull your pants up and wipe your ...

That HomePod mini consistently craps itself all the time, adding poor response times for the entire home, in addition to suddenly all home kit devices being offline (no response).

The source of the problem is the HomePod Mini. Once I reboot the mini (a cold reboot) the home changes the hub role to the standby Apple HD TV and if I don't take that action the wife squeaks techsupport as all devices are labeled no response. Once the HomePod mini is rebooted everything returns to working order.

Upon the HomePod Mini returning to the home network over a day, the hub role returns to it. For a week maybe two all devices begin to be slow to respond, and within 4-6weeks - offline, yes every device has no response, and the standby Apple TV doesn't take the hub role. I remove the Apple HomePod Mini from the home, one AppleTV is the active hub, and a week or two passes - no issues. I return the HomePod mini, the frustration returns.

Now you probably have read similar posts and so have I. That is why I need to publicize my experience with the misery ball called HomePod Mini.

Keep any eye out I am going to keep the Apple HD TV as a single hub role and provide a status update.
