Libre Office will not open with MAC Monterey

I recently loaded my MAC Mini with Monterey after using Sierra for years. I've used Libre Office for years also with no problems. Now when I try to open Libre Office it won't respond at all. I'm 75 and NOT a computer geek of any sort...I just click on things and they happen! Does anyone have detailed instructions of how I can get Libre Office to work in Monterey?
