Show My Caller ID is stuck on spinning wheel

iPhone 12 mini here. I switched caller ID off for making work calls and now can’t switch on again. It is stuck on the spinning wheel. I have updated software, powered down and up, soft reset, all to no avail.

For voice calls: In many countries this is enabled by your carrier only if you are a VIP.

Contact your carrier.

Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you

Thanks for taking the time to respond. This is however a new issue with my phone and seems unrelated to a specific carrier. I have previously been able to slide on and off the Show My Caller ID function for a year without any problems...until now. It is not a corporate phone, it is a personal device and does not have a profile installed by any other organisation. Any further suggestions are welcome.
