Apple has an article About Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music - Apple Support that describes how you must subscribe to Apple Music (only certain songs) to get those audio features, and the Apple products per platform that permit it. Sony has their own music service named 360 Reality Audio of which the WF-1000XM4's come with a free trial access code. I believe that the Sony headphones connect app on iOS offers a comparison of normal sound .vs. the 360 Reality Audio, and it is quite noticeable.
There is no mention on the Sony WH-1000XM4 website or in the technical specifications that either the headphones, or WF headset are Atmos, Apple Spatial Audio, or Dolby 5.1 sound compatible. Android phones support the LDAC audio format which is significantly broader in sound quality than Apple's AAC format.
I own the WH-1000XM4 and the WF-1000XM4 and do not subscribe to any music service. You will need to ask Sony about any future planning for your preferred audio support.
