Can you remove the Apple Watch passcode?

How do I remove the passcode from my watch?

Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Tap Passcode, then tap Turn Passcode Off.

You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap Passcode, then tap Turn Passcode Off.

Yeah it won’t allow me too since the latest update…I’m assuming it’s for security maybe due to Apple pay?! I’m not usually this challenged with things but this is infuriating lol

Yes if you turn off the passcode you can't use apple pay.
