Locked out of watch

So I have an Apple Watch SE and I didn’t have my phone and could not guess my password and it locked my watch down and said to reset it and I have tried to put it in the charger and hold down the power off slider but nothing happens. What should I do now?

You’re going to Press and hold the side button until you see Power Off, not press on the slider
