how to return or change macbook

Dear All, how to return or change macbook? I bought a macbook pro M2, I paid for the purchase by credit card. Ordered delivery to my friend. But I decided to change the macbook pro M2 to a macbook air M2. Please tell me how can I do this? Can I ask Apple come to my friend's house and pick up the MacBook? Will I need to give the card with which I paid for the purchase or will Apple return the funds to the card itself? What is the easiest way to change macbook?
