Apple wallet opens when scanning QR codes at access terminals.

So the building I love two modes of access one using an access card the other is using a QR code. (Code displayed on my phone and the terminal scans it)

When I bring the phone up to the terminal to scan the code it opens up the wallet app to bank cards before it could scan the code.

Is there a work around? Like making the wallet app not open when it’s an NFC device that’s not a POS machine etc.

p.s I have my Express Travel turned off
