I can’t pull the menu from top or bottom of Watch face

Just set up my Apple Watch (series 3) yesterday. Water lock worked fine yesterday and earlier today. Now I can’t even pull the menu from top or bottom of Watch face. Any ideas?

Is there another way to launch control center other than swiping? I’m unable to swipe up or down on my watch when at the watch face screen and am unable to launch the control center. The ability to swipe up/down works in other aspects. I suspect the issue is related to enabling the water feature and forgetting to turn the dial to disable it. I actually used the water feature to lock the watch from accidental swipes as it basically locks the screen. I didn’t actually go in water.

why does my apple watch not go to the depth app in water automatically? so when I put the watch in water the depth app doesn’t open automatically like it says it should I have it on for automatic in settings how do I change this? Is this a glitch or something?

If you're in an app, you need to hold the top/bottom for a bit first
