Mac prints only first page of documents, but several times.

No matter what printer I use. Same issue with printing to PDF.

For example if I print a document 4 pages long with different content on every page, the result PDF file would be 4 pages long but with the content from first page in each four pages.

pdfs will only print as gobbledygook from MacBook Air I bought my MacBook Air (M1) in 2020 and have always had problems printing pdfs. I have regularly updated the OS (now using Venture 13.3.1) but the problem never goes away! What happens is I get unlimited printed pages of gobbledygook and have to pull out the paper tray to stop it and then reset the print queue to cancel the job. My printer is a Samsung C48x series, driver version 3.0. If I restart everything – printer and Mac – I can sometimes get it to print one page, but never more. The printer works fine for printing other file types from my MacBook Air, and I can print pdfs from my iPhone and iPad, so it should be a very specific problem! I have recently deleted Adobe Acrobat from my computer and taken to using only Preview for pdfs, but I still have the same problem. Any thoughts?

Printing _ "the document could not be printed" Hi everybody, I have problems when printing with Mac Sonoma 14.1.2. I couldn't print any pdf files, although it was ok with Sonoma version 14.0. the notice is alway "the document could not be printed" and "there were no pages selected to print" My pdf files are all unlock. How about your Mac? Does it have the same problem? What can I do to fix it? I work basically on pdf files, now I have to copy the content to word and print. That's really annoying. Please give me some hints if any of you have. Thanks a lot for your time and support.

Mac is automatically printing to PDF while using Google Docs When in Google Docs in Safari printing was working perfectly fine, until one day I decided to turn something into a pdf, so I clicked the print screen, which came up. Then I selected "save as PDF." Ever since then, every single time I want to print, it automatically downloads the document into a PDF. I then have to open the PDF and print like normal. I’ve tried deleting the printer, then adding it back on. Rebooting, nothing works. I even tried by adding another admin user, and still the same issue. Has anyone had luck getting their print screen to show back up to switch back to the actual printer? This does NOT happen in Chrome, only Safari. I know that I can use Chrome, but I like to keep my personal stuff on Safari and my work stuff on Chrome.

Check you printer setting.

You may have have chosen to print to Range and chosen a range from 1 to 1 only but 4 times
