I had my battery in the IPhone 8 changed about 3 weeks ago in the Apple Store. Since then, it doesn't ding for text messages and doesn't ring for incoming phone calls. Also, no other notifications make sounds as they come in. I've checked settings about 20 times and can't correct the problem.

Hello Mattg1261, Does the settings you have checked include the Silent Switch above the Volume buttons? Did you also check Phone settings in Notifications? Is all yes I would take it back to the Apple store and have the iPhone checked.
