You cannot purchase a genuine iPhone 8 battery. But Apple will replace your battery for $49 if it needs a new battery. Go to Settings/Battery/Battery Health; if there are no messages that your battery is failing, and the maximum capacity is over 80%, you don’t need a new battery.
