iMessages show up in storage on the backup on my device, but don’t show up on the storage in iCloud for Windows. If I factory reset my device, will I get my iMessages back? If not, how can I?

imessage is part of the icloud backup as outlined here What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support HOWEVER if you're using this Use Messages in iCloud - Apple Support it is not included in the backup.
