I cannot make long distance calls on my iPhone after installing 15.6. What’s the solution?

On my iPhone XR I installed update 15.6 and now my iPhone won’t make long distance calls. Does anyone have a solution?

report the issue to your cellular data provider that is their feature.

I discovered what was wrong. The update turns on data asst. if your contact list has phone numbers with the international or local prefix when dialed then your phone company doesn’t recognize an 11 digit number.
