Will it work?

Hi guys, I just want to know I’ve been testing my AirPods and the left one doesn’t work here is the issue.

If I buy just the left one should I been able to connect it with the other one? right now the AirPods version is 1A673 the AirPods are 2º generation or I need to buy both? hope you help me out with that.
