What is this Down Arrow Desktop Screen?

Has anybody seen this white down arrow on the desktop screen? It's stationary and cannot be removed or clicked. Can this be some sort of virus???

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

It seems to be part of the desktop photo you chose. Try changing the background photo?

I tried a different background but it's still there so I don't think it's part of of the desktop photo.
