macOS 12.5 Mail Preference option "Load remote content in messages" is missing

In preference under "Viewing" I have always unchecked the "Load remote content in messages". Among other reasons, I'm often on my phone hotspot and don't want all those images downloaded unless I ask for it.

In Monterey 12.5 this option is no longer visible. Just checked my older MBPro, macOS 12.4 - the option doesn't show either, but my earlier selection was still in force - remote images did not download unless I asked.

Is there a Terminal Window command to do this?

See the settings under Mail > Preferences > Privacy. You have to choose to block content now.
