I can't cut and paste text from Word to whatsapp any more

As you have already done some good Testing - the issue may not be some much MS Word but the extensive Formatting that occurs in MS Word.

Suggestion as a test, do your composing in Textedit and then Copy or Cut and Paste into Whatapp.

This started to happen to me as well. It is frustrating. The only solution I found was to copy the text from word to google translate then copy from google translate to WhtasApp. I already deleted and reinstalled WhatsApp but did not fix the problem.

I just noted this problem. Here are some additional tests and comments.

This is only happening copying and pasting from MS WORD to WhatsApp (desktop).

You can copy and paste from anywhere else like a post it note or any other source.

The clipboard shows the same text in "RTF" format on the clipboard but just won't paste from MS WORD to WA

Copy and pasting from MS EXCEL works.

Font does not seem to effect this. (again everything I test show up the same way on the clipboard)

This does not appear to be IOS version dependent - I am running 10.15.7 and other have later versions with no difference.

Try and keep going. The latest Stable Version of Monterey is 12.5 released July 20, 2022

I had the same trouble. Yes, worked for me. My existing drafts on WORD - copy & paste into Textedit, then copy from Textedit & paste into WA works too.

yes if you copy to anything else it works so it is only showing up copying from MS WORD (and not MS EXCEL) to WA.
