Screen Issue with new M2 MacBook Air

New M2 MacBook Air, about a week old. Facing screen issues wherein on a black screen the screen is differently lit at at the edges (in patches) as compared to the rest of the screen. Attaching pictures for lack of a better explanation. This does not seem to be normal. Is this a software issue or should I bring my Mac to a repair shop? It seems minor but I do not want it to escalate.

MacBook Air, macOS 12.4

Hey shivangrathore,

That would appear to be a hardware issue with the display.

To get that resolved, we'd recommend getting the Mac in for inspection. You can find more information on service options here: Mac Repair - Official Apple Support

Thanks!
