macbook Air m1 display

We trust apple products more than any other products in the market. With this trust, we purchased MacBook Air M1 when it was launched.

But Apple disappointed us, without any reason all of sudden MacBook Air M1 started displaying vertical line in middle of the monitor, when we contacted Apple service center in India, they mentioned it is display issue and requires screen replacement and cost is very high.

For sure, these issues are occurring due to some design or manufacturing defects from Apple company. Around the world, many people facing this problem with your 1 generation M1 chip MacBook Air.

Any views on this issue?

If you wish Apple to hear your complaint: Product Feedback - Apple

My thoughts? This is Apple's decision. I am aware of recent Apple "controversies" and their proposed solutions ... including their limitations. But, I bought Apple anyway and that means I have accepted Apple's position.

A little over two years ago I had the logic board of my 2016 MBP replaced at about $600US. I didn't like it, but then, I had bought into Apple and all its "features" and the MBP's cost to own were mine to bear. That was mitigated because I plan on things breaking; they always do and it's foolish to think they won't at the most inconvenient time. Murphy's law sort of thing.
