iPhone 13 Pro dead in one month

Hello, I purchased an iPhone 13 Pro on 07 June 2022 and it stopped working on 07 July 2022. I visited Apple Service centre they checked and said it’s dead. Will Apple give me an 100% new phone as replacement in black box ? I don’t quite like the concept of Apple giving client a repaired phone when we have paid original price for a new product. Why should Apple make us accept a repaired phone ? Repaired phone or a phone that doesn’t come in the original black box packing is as good as an second hand phone.

Since they cannot replace with the same model, I asked the service centre to return back my device from their repair team (the time when I informed the service centre was almost the same time the repair team had received my device) so that I can get it replaced from the country of purchase but their repair team is not answering to the service centre and is processing the repair, you can see below the current status:

Even if there is no way for me or anyone from Apple to tell the difference if the replacement device provided by Apple is new or remanufactured but the fact is it’s not an 100% new device, which is not fair to a consumer.

Why not? The device you're handing in to them is not 100% new. You're handing them a used, broken phone and they are giving you a working phone that is absolutely identical to new. I don't see what's unfair about that.

The device I’m handing over to them is not broken, it’s a defective device which they had sold me one month back, this is certified by Authorised Apple Service Centre. The device suddenly stopped working, there is no physical or liquid damage, it’s their hardware issue, Apple agrees to that. We pay Apples retail price for a new device but after about a months time are asked to take a repaired or remanufactured device, for no fault of the customer. They even said it’s your bad luck, I just could not believe that.

They said will try to repair or even change the motherboard it still cannot work will give an tested device as replacement. My question is why can’t they give a new device as we get from Apple store in black box.

Apple and authorized service providers won’t do that. You can’t get a new device because that’s not how the warranty works. You also can’t get it replaced because the model you have is not available anywhere other than China, Hong Kong, and Macau, even as a service replacement.

You will have to take it back to the country where it was originally sold.
