Trying to upgrade my MacBook Air from Mojave to Monterey.

I keep trying to upgrade for Mojave to Monterey. I upgraded, down loads and restarts. The computer still reads old iOS. Meaning I can not use my works VPN. Please advise and thank you. Best, Brooke

OK, we're talking abut MacS for clarity in the future, iOS is for iPhones & iPads. :)

You may have to disable VPN to get a good copy.

Monterey…

macOS Monterey on the App Store (apple.com)

How much Free space does your drive have?

May have to install it in Safe Mode!

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.
