MacBook does not connect to home Wi-Fi

Try the steps here: If your Mac isn't connecting to the internet over Wi-Fi. I presume other devices connect normally?

open your system preferences from applicatrions folder (i always put mine in my dock for a quick click) or, go to the apple menu in top left corner of your screen and scroll to click on system preferences there. once in, check your network preferences; it will show all connections, wifi included, and if you don't see yours connected, hit advanced, and set up from there. just another way to check.
