Lost data on iCloud

Looking for help with recovering lost files. My wife and I share an Apple ID and iCloud and both have laptops. When she started her laptop the other day she noticed my files were on her desktop and essentially the same view as my desktop. I made the big mistake of telling her to just trash them and then noticed the files were deleted from my laptop....big mistake!

Looking for help in recovering my files. I did back up the computer through Time Machine and an external hard drive last year so recovered some files but obviously the files were deleted from the Cloud and looking for a way to recover.

The deleted files will not move to recently deleted in iCloud.com they are simply erased , in case if a single Mac was used and it was not synced then the files can be recovered Delete files in iCloud Drive on iCloud.com - Apple Support
