iPhone 13 Pro not getting voicemail notifications

My phone sometimes rings, but sometimes doesn't... either way, I don't get the voicemail notification. I have all the notifications turned on, but I have to click on the voicemail icon at the bottom right of the phone app screen to manually check to see if there are any voicemails. Any help?
