Green outline on FaceTime icon

Hello!

My friend is saying that on our messages, the FaceTime icon outline is green instead of blue. It doesn’t say join or it’s not filled in green. We’ve both tried calling each other and we aren’t receiving each other’s calls. I’m wondering if the problem is on my end or their end.

Why does my iPhone’s FaceTime icon have a Question Mark? When I place a cellular phone call to another another iPhone, my iPhone 13 Pro Max displays the outgoing calls information along with a FaceTime icon with a question mark within it. Sometimes it will show a call to another iPhone with a solid-filled icon. But 9.5 times out of 10 it does not have it filled solid. This happens when I call the same number at different points. So calling the same number twice will yield a different icon, usually with a question mark. Why is that and how do I fix? Or is there anything to fix? I’ll add that this happens even if calling I’m calling a family member who only has an iPhone. Any helpful comments or suggestions appreciated.

calls are not ringing while on facetime When people call me through WhatsApp or the regular phone app and I’m on a FaceTime call, it does not show a missed call notification or an incoming call. It also does not ring or vibrate. I have silent mode off and have no do not disturb/focus functions on. I only find out about the calls when they tell me (in real life) that they were calling me and I did not answer. The calls are shown in Notification Center, however, I am not given a notification for them. Is there any way to solve this in settings? It is a very important issue for several reasons related to family.

Outgoing FaceTime call ringer glitched. iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 17.0.1 update has a FaceTime outgoing call ringer glitch. When I tried to FaceTime a friend, they didn’t answer, but the ringing didn’t stop and just got louder. I locked my phone and the sound continued but became very glitchy and more robotic sounding. I had to completely restart my phone to make the sound stop. Is it just my phone or has it happened to others?

Hmm! I wonder if they are using an android but I believe they don't! Green usually one of you have weak or have no data or wifi in order to complete the FaceTime call! My best recommend is to contact Apple Support which you can go it straight right here!
