First thing to understand is that you will lose all of the data on your iPhone during the reset process. No way to avoid that. But, when you set up the phone again, you can use your current backup to restore the phone, so it will look just like it did at the time of the backup.


If your iPhone is running iOS 15.2 or higher........you can use the instructions linked just below:

If your iPhone is not running iOS 15.2 or higher........or, you don't know what version your iPhone is running, use the instructions linked below, but note that you must use a PC or Mac using this method.
