iPad Unavailable

I entered the wrong password multiple times and my iPad screen stares iPad unavailable. How can I fix it?

Use the Erase option if there is one, or click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPad requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer.
