Reset password with no wifi
My computer is not able to connect to Wi-Fi and I am stuck on the utility screen after attempting to reset my MacBook

You don't need WiFi to reset your local password: System Preferences > Users & Groups > Change Password
You do, however; need to be able to login locally using the old password. That also doesn't require WiFi.
