iCloud Drive file recovery could not be loaded at this time.

I use a shared iCloud drive to store various spreadsheets, so that I can access these spreadsheets from my Desktop or my iPad or my iPhone. I've been using this feature for several years with no issue. Then last week sometime, one of these spreadsheets vanished and I'm not sure how. I assumed that if it was deleted by mistake from my desktop that I would of been able to "Restore" from iCloud.com "Advanced" "Restore Files". But every time I try to restore files, I get the following message:

iCloud Drive file recovery could not be loaded at this time.

I have multiple spreadsheets saved in the iCloud and this is the only one that has gone missing.

Thanks in advance.

Hey eaf6195,

We understand you're having trouble restoring a file from iCloud.com and getting the error "iCloud Drive file recovery could not be loaded at this time.".

The best thing to do is to ensure you have a strong network connection and to attempt again. If you continue to have issues, perhaps test things out in another browser or from another device.

If all else fails, we'd suggest contacting Apple Support using this link: Get Support

So after almost 2 weeks of not being to view any deleted files from iCloud Drive File Recovery, my vanished Spreadsheets was there and I was able to restore it with no problem. It's as though somebody from Apple Support read my issue and corrected something and allowed to view my vanished file and also restore. My issue has now been corrected.
