I have a personal self signed mail certificate. I’m not part of a large organization. How do I make Apple let me manage my phone the way I want to? I can’t get my email from my personal certificate because I can’t even access the trust settings.

I don’t want to have to submit my “organization” to Apple for permission to use my own phone the way I want to. How do I gain control of my own trust settings? It’s not even available as an option when I install the PEM certificate.

As a result I get constant interruptions from my mail program saying they can’t access my mail server because it’s not trusted. How can I turn on my own power to trust or not trust certain certificates on my own phone?
