Black screen when playing iTunes videos to External Monitor

Hi, I am trying to play the videos/shows/movies I purchased on my Windows Laptop to a TV via HDMI. I confirmed the devices are all connected with 8K compatible cables/devices. However, whenever the video is on the TV either as a duplicate OR as an extend to right setting it appears completely black. Is there a reason it will not duplicate?
