Retrieving deleted messages from iPhone 12 I have an iPhone 12, IOS 16.3.1 I accidentally deleted all messages from a contact this morning. I have followed the instructions for retrieving deleted messages, but when I tap on "Edit" in the top left corner of the messages screen I am not being given the "Show deleted messages" button. Try turning off iCloud Messages

Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud -> Messages

waiting a few minutes and then turning it back on.
