My iPhone X is unavailable due to incorrect passcode, what should I do?

I tried connecting it to iTunes, but the option to restore my iPhone is not appearing on the laptop. Also, I tried forcing the restart by pressing and quickly releasing the Volume Up button, then pressing and releasing the Volume Down button, and finally pressing and holding the Side button. Still, I didn't get to see the recovery-mode screen.
