2022 iMac M1 back usbc not charging

Hey we just purchased this a week ago and the back USB-C port worked to charged phones but now it’s no longer charging devices. Is this likely something wrong with computer or is there any explanation for why this may have happened?

Why does my iPad only charge from a Mac not a charger? I have been to the Genius Bar. They plugged my iPad into a working charger. Nothing. I get home and plug into my Mac, all works fine. Simply does not work with external chargers.

MacBook Pro 2019 refusing to charge Hello my late 2019 MacBook Pro is suddenly refusing to accept any charge from all 4 ports. I’ve tried resetting smc many times with no results. I tried the brick by charging my phone and it works, so I thought it must be the usb c cable itself and bought a new cable and it’s still refusing to charge. I cannot update my MacBook because it’s on like 3% battery. what can I do?

Try this.

Just shut down your M1 Mac and power on it after 30 seconds.
