If you elected to purchase the optional AppleCare+ plan, you will eligible for replacement. Being an insurance product, you will be charged a small excess/deductible fee.

If you don’t have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan, a repair - if offered by Apple - will cost c.60% of the “as new” cost of your iPad.
