Switching to wifi

My phone connects to the wifi on my networks list and I get the blue tick next to router name but it doesn’t switch from 4G to wifi

Is your wifi network connected to the internet? If it is, try turning off "Wi-Fi Assist" in mobile data/cellular settings.
